Whether you’re craving a Michelin-worthy bowl of noodles or pancakes with a twist, here are 10 stalls that make the trip worth it.

1. Whitley Road Big Prawn Noodle

Unit: #03-09
Opening Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)

With a broth simmered to depth, this stall lives up to its Michelin Plate reputation. The prawn and pork rib noodles pack intense umami, whether you go for soup or dry versions. The dry style, tossed in a spicy-savory chili paste, adds a punch that regular prawn noodles often miss. Portions vary, allowing you to pick based on hunger or budget.

2. Seng Hiang Bak Chor Mee

Unit: #03-07
Opening Hours: 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM (Mondays – Fridays), 9 AM – 8:30 PM (Saturdays and Sundays) (Closed on Wednesdays)

Originating from the famous Bedok 85, Seng Hiang brings its signature minced meat noodles to the north. The soup version stands out with a garlicky, peppery broth that clings to the springy noodles. Their dry bak chor mee uses a rich sambal-lard mix that intensifies every bite. Expect a nostalgic, satisfying slurp that locals have cherished since the 70s.

3. Fins and Feathers

Unit: #03-10
Opening Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:45 PM

This is your go-to for Western comfort food with heft. The Signature Beef Stew is slow-cooked and hearty, while their Crispy Chicken is golden, crackling, and surprisingly non-greasy. The generous portions justify the higher price tag. Great for those craving a fork-and-knife meal amid chopsticks and soup spoons.

4. Saudagar Penyek

Unit: #03-21
Opening Hours: 11 AM – 3 PM, 4:30 PM – 8 PM (Closed on Sundays)

A Muslim-owned stall offering Indonesian penyet dishes packed with flavor. The Nasi Ayam Penyek features crispy smashed chicken, tender inside with fresh sambal that kicks hard and fast. 5. Munchi Pancakes
